Electrical Project Manager

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL BUILDING POWER SYSTEMS INSTALLATION OR ENGINEERING DESIGN. Electrical pertaining to non-building power related systems is not applicable (RF, PCBs, ICs, Telecom, etc).

Fusion Electric & Engineering, LLC is a full service electrical contractor based in Naples, Florida. We are seeking an Electrical Project Manager for the design, estimating and project management of residential and/or commercial electrical installations including power distribution, lighting control systems, A/V & Automation Systems, as well as security systems. Job Responsibilities

  • Performing Quantity takeoffs to prepare estimates and proposals
  • Project Management of contracted work through the construction phases
  • Performing electrical engineering calculations and designs for residential and commercial projects including but not limited to: Load Calculations, Riser Diagrams, Panel Schedules, Branch circuit wiring design, Standby power generator sizing calculations.


Minimum Candidate Requirements

  • Knowledge of construction terminology, scheduling, equipment and methods
  • Knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) codes
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office products including high levels of experience with Outlook, Excel & Word.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; no CDL required
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug test
  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with employees, vendors, and clients


Additional Preferred Candidate Requirements

  • Electrical Estimating Experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but is not a necessity

  • Salary is commensurate based on Experience & Performance, paid weekly via direct deposit payments.

Position requirements include programming, commissioning, orientation and troubleshooting of Low Voltage, Audio/Video, Lighting control and Automation Systems equipment Installations.

  • Networking Equipment installation and IP network troubleshooting
  • Lutron RadioRA2 and Lutron Homeworks programming and troubleshooting
  • Control4 Lighting and automation programming and troubleshooting

  • Honeywell and DSC security alarm installation, programming and troubleshooting

High End Residential Superintendent Team Member - Electrical Contractor

We are someone to join our team to supervise a portion of our electrical installation crews at various jobsite locations throughout SW Florida for our electrical installations.

Minimum Candidate Requirements Include:

  • 5+ Years Minimum High End Residential Supervision experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) in order to fluently & effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the company.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of the NEC.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of electrical construction tools, supplies and components in order to properly identify and select the appropriate materials to fill a team members order.
  • Must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs including Excel & Outlook.
  • Strong leadership abilities to interact effectively and professionally with employees, vendors and clients

Essential Duties/Accountabilities:

As an Electrical Superintendent you will visit jobsites in Lee & Collier Counties supervising all aspects of our electrical installations. You will be need to review installations to ensure the work adheres to electrical layouts, project specifications, while the team members adhere to company safety policies, and OSHA requirements. The position would include:

  • Supervise all aspects of our electrical installation projects from planning to final inspection and warranty.
  • Supervise team members on job sites to ensure installation work is compliant with plans, specifications industry norms and high company work standards.
  • Coordinate with other superintendent team members to efficiently staff projects, forecast / schedule manpower, tools and equipment for projects.
  • Coordinate with with our project managers, inspection authorities, architects & engineers, and builder / developer clients.
  • Attend job site meetings and coordinate changes with office project managers.
  • Maintain company tools, trailers and equipment in operational condition and get items repaired or replaced as needed/approved by management.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area on daily basis.
  • Observe all safety and Company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor or management

Essential Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Be able to trim and Hot Check a home start to finish with little to no supervision
  • Lead a crew of 2 or 3 team members to bring in projects on time and efficiently
  • Order material as necessary from our office and supply houses to complete projects
  • Experience with Lighting Control system equipment installation and wiring required
  • Observe all safety and Company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor or management


Minimum Candidate Requirements Include:

  • Must have extensive knowledge of electrical tools, supplies and components.
  • Must have own tools and have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass a drug test (no medical marijuana allowed)

Essential Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Receive orders for electrical components.
  • Use a computer-based inventory management system.
  • Receive material shipments from vendors
  • Deliver material shipments to jobsites in a company vehicle.
  • Stock jobsite trailers with material packages.
  • Deliver trailers to jobsites and pick up trailers after project completion.
  • Maintain company tools, trailers and equipment in operational condition.
  • Observe all safety and Company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Help field crews with electrical projects as necessary to meet schedules.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor or management


Minimum Candidate Requirements Include:

  • Must have extensive knowledge of electrical tools, supplies and components.
  • Requires regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires standing for several hours at a time during the workday.
  • Must be proficient with computers, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; no CDL required
  • Must be able to drive and back up a full size pickup truck pulling an enclosed cargo trailer.
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug test


Preferred Candidate Requirements also Include:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but is not a necessity
  • Inventory and purchasing functions will be completed in QuickBooks, prior experience is a plus.
